Photo Files & URLs

Where uz_AutoShot saves photos, how files are named, the URLs they are served from, and the GTA category reference.

How Photos Are Served

Captured photos are written to shots/ inside the resource and served over FiveM's native cfx-nui protocol:

https://cfx-nui-uz_AutoShot/shots/<path>.<ext>

Any NUI page in any resource can load these URLs with a plain <img src="...">. There is no HTTP server and no port to open. Since 2.1.0 there is no HTTP API either; see Removed in 2.1.0.

https://cfx-nui-uz_AutoShot/shots/vehicles/adder.png
https://cfx-nui-uz_AutoShot/shots/objects/prop_bench_01a.png

After capturing new photos, restart the resource (restart uz_AutoShot). FiveM indexes the files of a resource when it starts, so new photos only become servable after the next start. Photos that already existed keep working.

Naming Convention

TypePath
Components{gender}/{componentId}/{drawable}.{ext}
Components, texture > 0{gender}/{componentId}/{drawable}_{texture}.{ext}
Props{gender}/prop_{propId}/{drawable}.{ext} (or _{texture} as above)
Overlays{gender}/overlay_{overlayIndex}/{drawable}.{ext} (never a texture suffix)
Tattoos{gender}/tattoos/{collection}/{overlay}.{ext}, both lowercased
Vehiclesvehicles/{modelName}.{ext}
Objectsobjects/{modelName}.{ext}
  • {gender} is male or female.
  • Texture 0 never gets a suffix. Other textures are only captured with Customize.CaptureAllTextures = true.
  • {ext} is png while Customize.TransparentBg is on, otherwise Customize.ScreenshotFormat. getPhotoFormat() returns it.
  • For tattoos, {overlay} is the overlay name for that gender (hashMale or hashFemale in the tattoo list).
